20 Organic sun dried dates pitted
4 Cups of Raw Walnuts
1 Tbs. of Cinnamon
1 Tbs. of Vanilla Bean Powder
1 Tbs. of Almond Extract
2 Cups of Cacao Powder
Step 1- Place the pitted dates in a food processor using the “S” blade and chop the dates until they form into a ball, remove from the container and set aside.
Step 2 - Using the same container and “S” blade place the walnuts and pulverize for 2 minute scraping every once in a while or until it resembles coarse flour.
Step 3 - Add the processed dates to the pulverized walnuts and mix again, add the cacao powder, cinnamon, vanilla bean powder, and almond extract, Mix well then press into a cake pan and place in the freezer.
Step 4 - Make the chocolate frosting.
In a professional blender put the following ingredients,
3 Cups of Raw Cacao Powder
1 Cup of Coconut Syrup or Agave Syrup or Raw Honey
2 Tbs. of Coconut Butter
2 Tbs. of Almond Extract
½ tsp. of sea salt
Add in sequence to a high -speed blender (I use a Vita-mix), cover tight and blend for 45 seconds. Mix well until is all incorporated about a minute, open the cover and scrape the sides until it form a ganage, spread on the top of the brownie and put back in the freezer for one hour, and serve. After is out of the Freezer keep refrigerated.
